Thank goodness that’s over. Hansard scribes, security guards, clerks, press gallery members and, likely, many others are in for some relief after an intense fall sitting of the 30th legislature ended at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

It had a benign-sounding name: the Reform of Agencies, Boards and Commissions and Government Enterprises Act.
But Bill 22 caused a real ruckus this week, including allegations of government corruption and orations about threats to democracy.

It was an excellent podcast. Too bad it was cancelled, but it was lost after the departure of EG.
I am surprised that Staples has not joined the UCP in some capacity. He is a biased climate denier in my opinion and a believer in trickle down economics.
I follow you on Twitter and you have Interviewed me last year on class sizes.
This is a podcast I highly recommended. I always know what is what after listening to your podcast !! Way to go on episode 209.
This is a great pod cast that keeps me informed on what’s happening in our great province. One podcast once a week, perfect.
Thank you and keep them coming!
informative and has a good host
Super fun and quality rich podcast. The host are humorous and the guests are always knowledgeable and insightful- I wish the episodes were longer!
Thanks for podcast! Great to get perspective and context on Alberta politics.
Just found this awesome podcast. I am seeking objective and nonpartisan information on politics, and this fits the bill. Also Love the eclectic suggestions at the end of each episode
Local journalists give analysis of Provincial politics and its very interesting, and even includes charming banter. Not just worth a listen; A must listen.
I’m touring musician and a courier at home so drive a lot and listen to a ton of podcasts. This is the only good podcast covering Alberta politics. I never miss an episode but there are still areas for improvement and one irksome issue. To improve: audio compression and mastering could sound sound better. Squash it! Irksome: the main hosts comments often go over the line from a nice personal touch to obnoxious like interrupting her guests with random/irrelevant reactions. For instance in a rec... more
Trying to get more aware of Ab politics? Then I believe you should sign up to Em & the gang for your weekly dose of education. Don’t always agree with their take on things but it gives you a fairly comprehensive overview of the issues. Dare to mention the oft maligned phrase “fair & balanced” ??? Closer than Fox News’ usage for sure! Hmmm damning with faint praise - naw! Give it a listen judge for yourself you might even learn a second language, g’day mate
I really appreciate the way that all of the journalists seem be willing to call the politicians on their foolishness and point out the good things that they do. I also appreciate Emma’s desire to educate us in speaking fluent Australian. They do a good job of making politics interesting and maybe even a little fun.
Discussing serious political issues without taking themselves too seriously. The best!
This is my favourite podcast right now
Not your average political panel - the journalists on this podcast give you the analysis you need while keeping things entertaining!!! Great podcast for politics nerds, or any Albertans or Alberta fans who want to keep up with what’s going on in the province’s politics.
