I’ve only come across this podcast a few years late 😅 but I found it right as I needed it, at the beginning of our Parenting Spectrum journey. This podcast was everything I needed. It was validating, supportive, educational, real and a bit confronting. It checked all the boxes and made myself and I’m sure many other families, feel seen and not alone.
Great on you all to share the experiences and your journey. As a mum of lovely autistic boy myself - it feels like I’m not alone.
Great podcast, can relate to so much that is being talked about as a parent with a child who has Autism. It nice to hear that I am not alone in this ongoing challenge to keep my child safe, included and educated. more
I really hope some of the educators out there who sometimes think they know it all have a listen to this. Neurotypical parents venturing through neurodiversity with sensitivity and insight that helps other parents to feel the positive aspects of living with our unique and beautiful neurodivergent children. Acceptance is everything.
I have been listening to lots of podcasts about Autism as I have a son with Autism and this is by far the best. I love the fact it is a Mum and dad talking and that there are interviews. The topics are interesting and it is so easy to listen to. Keep them coming! This is the first time I have ever reviewed a podcast as I was so impressed. I have just changed careers from an Accountant to a teachers aide and your comments about schools is spot on. Keep them coming!
