  • The best podcast for mums and mums-to-be

I absolutely love this podcast. I had two Covid babies and missed out on that in-person connection with other mums, so We Don’t Have Time For This has become the mothers group I wish I had. Listening to Gem and Kate keeps me company during all the driving I do for work, and honestly, it makes the hours fly by. They’re funny, real, and so relatable, it feels like catching up with friends who totally get it. Whether they’re venting, laughing, or dropping some hard truths, it’s always a good time. ... more

  • Something has changed

I still listen weekly but something has definitely changed. I can’t quite put my finger on what, it just doesn’t grab my attention as much as it used to.

The convos feel too pre-planned? Too much discussion of random online articles? Too much live show talk? Too much talk of Chat GPT? I don’t know, just feels different to previous years.

  • Editing my previous review

I did have five stars, however this was when I was listening to the back catalogue (2020-2023ish). Now I’ve caught up… not as good as it once was.

Hearing “sounds like communism/socialism” regarding universal basic income in a recent ep was a hard listen. As are the constant references to ChatGPT.

I really loved this but not for me any more as they expand to wider audiences. The old eps will likely still be a comfort listen though!

  • Losing its sparkle

Used to be one of my fave podcasts but the quality is dropping a lot. I’m very happy they are so successful that they could quit their jobs to do the podcast but it’s now missing a lot of the content that made it so compelling. They used to be very relatable talking about the juggle of jobs/businesses and motherhood. But now their lives are truly not that relatable. They spend a lot of time talking about the making of the podcast itself and their lives as podcasters which just isn’t that interes... more
