  • Stellar

Being introduced to this podcast about a year and a half ago by a brother named Chase, a man who has poured into me and been a great example to follow as a follower in Christ (so shoutout to him). About six months ago I went back to the very start of this show and it has extremely served to edify me and I hope some of the conversations I have had since! This podcast has covered topics I was unfamiliar with and fed my curiosity to know more of our Trinitarian God, while answering some of my quest... more

  • Great Show but Check the Backchanneling

I have appreciated the subject matter on his show as I’ve transitioned into the Reformed position. I especially love the topic of law and gospel, as it has served as a balm to my soul. I still give this podcast five stars, even though there is much of what I guess is called “backchanneling” going on. The “mmm”’s and “right”’s and other active listening sounds have made me turn the podcast off.

If the guys are reading this, I know you don’t know me at all, and I don’t mean for the first thing y... more

Ep. 266 - Death
Q: How can we be certain about life after death?
Certainty comes from the historical resurrection of Jesus and eyewitness testimony; faith rests on the historical person who lived after death and validated the Christian claim of life after death.
Ep. 266 - Death
Q: What will our glorified bodies be like?
They will be glorious and perfect, not subject to pain or decay, with some ambiguity about age; the emphasis is on the reality of transformation and continuity with Christ's resurrection body.
Ep. 266 - Death

Trust in God's sovereignty while gathering information about medical options; discuss with doctors, weigh quality of life, and make decisions that align with faith, hope, and wisdom rather than fear.
