There are several that I'm probably going to get a lot of pushback on, besides education being top of my economic state of being.

Q: What's your overall take on what you're walking into here with state government?

I'm probably in the same situation, same position. It's something that I think I'm looking forward to. Don't have any preconceived notions about what to expect or anything else.

We're spending millions on prison health care ... and we're not getting any

Q: How did you start your mission to improve health care in prisons?

I started by touring prisons and speaking to inmates as a nurse without identifying myself as a legislator to get honest feedback.

Bush emphasized the need for more clinics and better access to treatment options like Ibogaine, stating that shared experiences among veterans indicate a significant need.

Q: What led you to go to Mexico to receive some Ibogaine treatment?

Ben Bush explained that after transitioning out of the military, he faced severe mental health challenges and was feeling lost, and a friend recommended Ibogaine after having a positive experience.
