I feel like most of the resources I’ve discovered that are geared toward raising neurodivergent kids are heavily targeted at public school families (utterly unhelpful for a mom trying to educate nearly five neurodiverse students!). Sarah is an incredible resource for families who are homeschooling- her tips and strategies are game-changing!
I don’t homeschool my kids but have been trying to support my neurodivergent son with the right tools and Sarah never fails with practical advice, patience, and framing the situation in terms of the child’s strengths. She reminds me of what goals are realistic on what timeline for him - no one else’s! Her tools are so easy to apply, you will be able to have instant implementation and slow, steady progress. A must listen to all who struggle with giving our kids what they need at their own paces!
This is a great resource for homeschooling parents of kids who are wired uniquely or just need a fresh approach. Useful tips from a professional about how to support your kinesthetic learner.
