Hey Michelle. I just listened to the episode on the hidden trap of helping other people whilst walking the dog. I got so much from it and went home to journal immediately. What I can see is my self worth is tied up if I’m not doing. There is a fear (terror) of not existing or I’m not helping. There is also a fear of being disliked (abandonment) and I feel that is what is driving my compulsion to ‘help’. It also is what keeps me from being with myself.
