I have loved this podcast. Josh takes you to deep conversation instantly. It's like I'm curling up next to a warm fire and sitting in on countless conversations that I'm constantly intrigued by and encouraged to grow and think deeper about myself. My one knock on the podcast is that there seems to be an invisible wall that doesn't want to be crossed when it comes to a conversation about faith/religion. Whether you have faith or not it just seems like the conversation could naturally go that dire... more
I have listened to this podcast ever since it has come out and I have to say that the best thing for me about this podcast is that it is just real and honest. That amidst having these people on his show Josh asks the deep and hard hitting questions and not only does he answer them honestly but so do his guests. Josh just does a great job with articulating his words and questions to his guests so that he makes them feel comfortable to be real with him and the audience listening. As well as at tim... more

Love this podcast! Deep, honest, and thought provoking
Great podcast. It's refreshing to listen to a podcast filled with people that have the courage to do great things and put themselves out there in a dark world filled with fear.
I'm so grateful for The Marrow. Josh and his guests bring an inspiring, honest, and vulnerable conversation about creativity and truly what it means to be human. It's obvious Josh has done the hard work of going deep into his own story while inviting listeners to dive into our own stories with the hope of experiencing a lightness despite the pain and difficulty of life. I highly recommend giving The Marrow a listen!
Wonderful and thought provoking. Thankful for the honest and deep conversations
Josh has a way of articulating his thoughts and is able to navigate his way through a story that enables the listener to think to himself, "Yeah, me too." Thinking this to yourself is such a liberating experience. His dose of curiosity about the world and people shines brightly through this podcast. Josh's vulnerability permits his guests to duplicate, which in return allows the listener to gain insights of the internal thoughts and insecurities within there favorite creatives. Looking forward f... more
Sometimes, well, all the time, it is a struggle to be an artist, but for reasons you wouldn't expect. There are so many factors that influence your self-confidence and thus your ability to create. It's really nice to hear other artists discuss struggles that I have and never really thought were shared. Wonderful also to hear it from the perspective of a believer. Thanks, Josh, for your honesty and your spirit. I'm looking forward to hearing more!
As someone who thrives in and from creativity, I couldn't recommend this podcast more. The conversations are transparent, vulnerable, intimate, rich. If you're looking to stay at the surface of where people draw their art from, then this isn't the place. But if you're ready for the marrow and need to hear the heartbeats of others who love the beauty of art then welcome.
Josh has opened up places in my heart many times and now I have the rich privilege of those deep conversations with more heart... more
