What a great idea for a podcast! I’m glad Ronnie came up with this idea and I’m glad he actually made it happen! He comes up with fascinating historical stories about the songs and people he features in The Liner Project. This podcast is just FUN!
fun little podcast.
I have enjoyed listening to the music and learning about its place in history. A very well put together podcast that is delightful to listen to. I highly recommend to anyone looking for something different. Ronny is a considered presenter and it is reflected in the quality of the show.
Would definitely recommend this podcast. This podcast gives a great insight into music and history and does an awesome job of combining the 2, the fact that Ronnie also interacts with his listeners in terms of a quiz or homework makes it an even more unique listen. Great work Ronnie 👍🏻
Ronnie has a voice and style made for good podcasts, whilst he bases his fortnightly podcasts on US history surrounding his musical influences , as a Brit this is insightful and I have learnt many different things. I have listened to Ronnie in different podcasts over the years and cannot recommend him highly enough. I also really wish I had his knowledge and passion.
Only two episodes deep and Ronnie is already knocking it out of the park. He’s a natural at this podcasting thing and the subject matter is some of my favorite stuff to geek out to. It’s like digging into a vinyl and finding those liner notes and getting that little bit of additional insight about the album/tracks that made that money spent well worth it, but in podcast form. Great job Ronnie.
You like music? You like a little bit of history? You better subscribe to this podcast! I love what's been done in this project. You can tell that Ronnie has a lot of passion *and* knowledge on his topic and it's delight to listen. Can't wait for more!!
Great combo of music and history. Ronnie provides just the right amount of information the average music fan doesn’t necessarily know of. Learn and be entertained!
I love how Ronnie combines music and history into this podcast. And the fact that he makes it interactive is genius!!
The idea for this podcast is so original and Ronnie executes it flawlessly. In this age of digital music it is very easy to forget how it felt to hear an album from start to finish on a CD player or a record player. These were always accompanied by liner notes or a booklet and I remember reading them thoroughly in my youth. I was fascinated by what the band had to say. Each artist used this platform differently and it made an album complete as a true experience. Liner notes and even physical alb... more
Easy listening podcast about music delivered in a pleasant and informative way. Well worth a listen.
As a music nerd, I love this kind of information. Ronnie expresses his interest and love of the topic so clearly; it’s enjoyable to listen. Can’t wait for more! Hoping some of my favorite bands make the cut one day.
I love learning the story behind the lyrics. Ronnie has always enriched our family’s lives by sharing random history facts at the dinner table, during road trips, and anytime he has a captive audience. It’s so fun to be able to share him with the world.
I mean it’s my podcast so I’m rating it high! I do appreciate anyone who listens and finds value in what I have to say. Have a great day!
