  • Hard to listen to

I really want to like this podcast. The content for the outliers is very interesting but the editing and pacing is almost impossible to listen to. Is assume it’s AI generated but whatever it is is disappointing.

  • Greg Brockman interview

So interesting to listen to a clearly very accomplished, yet quite inarticulate, Joe Liemandt. I could handle no more than an hour of his babbling. Then I listened to very articulate and thoughtful Greg Brockman about the future of AGI. I wished the Brockman interview had been 2+ hours … Overall, this is my fav podcast. Keep it going, Shane.

  • Greg B episode was terrible

I generally like most of the interviews and the format of this pod but this is one of the least insightful and pointless episodes that I've heard. There is nothing actionable or any takeaways from this episode other than Greg B. seeming like a showman.

  • Informative, inspiring, and infuriating.

It’s not just AI, it’s AI slop. It wasn’t just mailed in via bad editing, it was carelessly catapulted while steeped in chagrin. This isn’t just the state of our rebooted, scratch and dent world, it’s an industrial sized bucket of literary Bondo meant to suffice for lack of effort or competence. It’s not that I hate it; it just can’t be unheard once recognized.

  • A Level Up for Serious Thinkers

I don’t just listen to this podcast — I study it.

I’ll find a single episode and come back to it five times, sometimes more. That’s how much depth there is here.

What makes The Knowledge Project different is the host, Shane Parrish. I’ve heard the same guests on other podcasts, but here, they go further — they think deeper and share more.

What impresses me most is the consistency and level of preparation. Many podcasts have a great episode here and there, but this one delivers at a high level... more

Speed, Stress, and Better Decisions | Winston Weinberg
Q: How did you know you were late on hiring senior executives, and what was the impact?
The guest explains that delaying senior hires allowed problems to compound, while bringing in executives later can cause misalignment; the learning is to trust early strategic hires when the signal is strong, as delaying can hinder execution.
