A Note from James
I first got really impressed with Steven Pinker when he wrote The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined. He basically shows that over the past 10,000 years, every single century has been less violent than the one b... more
A Note from James
I’ve always loved books where a journalist gets so deep into a subculture that they become part of it. Magic Is Dead by Ian Frisch is one of those. He starts out covering a secret society of magicians—“The 52,” named for the cards ... more
A Note from James
I’m such a fan of this guy. I loved The Psychology of Money — it felt like he was writing directly about me. I’ve made a lot of money, lost it all, made it again, lost it again. Over and over. And Morgan gets it.

A Note from James:

Such a powerful conversation. The way you held Danny’s story with depth and humanity turned it into more than an interview, it became a reflection on resilience, freedom, and the reclamation of self.
Hey James, you talked about unintended consequences being a good name for a new book. Sorry but it has already been written. The author is edward conard. Good read
What the heck, at this point it’s 50/50 ads and podcast.
When explaining tariffs, James said that China will raise prices to compensate for paying tariffs. Yet, that isn’t how tariffs work. When the U.S. imposes tariffs on another country, U.S. importers of that countries products pay the tariff. I don’t think James is that stupid (or maybe he is). He is purposely spewing mainstream garbage narratives, filled with misinformation. Listening to these shills will actually make you dumber if you don’t do your own fact checking.
I find James work really interesting, holds my attention and I want more. Enjoy his writing and interviewing style
