  • Diaspora discussion

I really enjoyed the discussion, especially the reminiscent terms “Ah va Napoli” and “Shcarole” which my grandfather used often as a New Jersey transplant to California.

  • Not bad

Trying to get in touch with my Italian roots so found this pod after blindly searching. Overall it’s not bad for free entertainment, but one of the hosts is super annoying— an insufferable windbag who goes on and on, in love with the sound of his own voice. Seriously, he barely lets a guest speak before he interrupts with his own lengthy tangents. Also FYi the hosts are specifically New York Italian Americans which I think is very different from those raised in other states. I’m from New England... more

  • FIX YOUR AUDIO!!!! Per favore!

Oh my goodness it’s so upsetting how poor the audio quality of this podcast is, because I love listening to it and everything you all have to say. But it’s so difficult to actually listen to! For an audio format of media…. I mean?! 3 stars is pretty generous bc the audio is truly awful but I really hope that with this review and the others I have seen stating the same, you will fix it soon! I love the show!
