  • Best political/current events podcast

I’ve kind of fallen off from a lot of other political podcasts I listen to, but this one remains entertaining and very informative. Rob and Jordan are probably the best hosts out there for regular commentary and analysis on current issues.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 412: The Weiss Stuff ft. Eoin Higgins
Q: How do you see this fitting in with the broader context of billionaire influence in media?
It represents a systematic takeover of legacy media channels, continuing the trend of wealthy individuals exerting control over news narratives instead of promoting diversity and democracy in journalism.
Ep. 412: The Weiss Stuff ft. Eoin Higgins
Q: What do you think the reaction is going to be from people in the CBS News orbit?
There could be massive backlash due to the unexpected nature of Weiss's appointment, especially if she begins making significant editorial decisions that reflect her ideology.
Ep. 403: Double Feature ft. Jack Cocchiarella & Manny Fidel
Q: What do you think of Graham Platner?
I don't like oysters, but he's changing my mind. I think he represents what diverse coalitions can look like, even if he has different ideological leanings.
Ep. 403: Double Feature ft. Jack Cocchiarella & Manny Fidel
Q: What do you think of that Abdul Al Sayed guy?
Abdul Al Sayed is attractive and if you want someone who talks like a normal person and can represent regular people, he is your guy.
Ep. 403: Double Feature ft. Jack Cocchiarella & Manny Fidel
Q: What do you think of Zohran?
Zohran is everything that the Democratic Party isn't doing right now and proving everything right about progressives. He can unite a political coalition and show why government works.
