  • Not for me

Used to sub to the Patreon but I’ve since cancelled. I like Jun and Caleb, both can be really funny and I agree with their politics. The problem is the podcast is too unfocused and surface level when they deep dive into interesting topics. It’s kind of like someone reading a Wikipedia summary but having to stop every paragraph for a diatribe or a bit. The best episodes are the tweet brackets where they can just riff and don’t need to be subject matter experts

  • Twitter-addled Slopfest

A podcast for and by terminally online tankies in the most derogatory sense. They try to cover serious topics but struggle to get even basic facts right and aren’t even entertaining while doing it.

CZM has far better podcasts in this vein run by people whose brains haven’t been scrambled by Twitter.

Months later, I recently thought about that sentence in a grocery store and had to pretend I was on the phone so I didn’t seem like a laughing lunatic. The Melania movie episode is easily second funniest, though.

I really love this podcast. With the non-stop horrors bombarding our feeds these days, humor is the best way to snap us back to a... more
