Overall, I enjoy the podcast, agree with most of the opinions of Rav & the guests, and have interests in all of these subjects. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of wasted time repeating the same information & venting about flaws in the system. I agree with most of this, and am happy there is a focus on it, but I gain nothing from hearing it a million times. For example, in the episode, myth of exercise with Andy Galpin, Rav started by listing a bunch of interesting topics he hoped to explore. If the... more
Thank you for your efforts and integrity.
Less interruption of guests would be helpful to follow the logic of speakers.
Starting off with the format, I wish they would be more focused in their discussions. The episode about genetics of obesity was interesting but just meandered all over the place and was hard to follow (throwing out “studies” in tiny droplets without full disclosure or references, etc.) One guest was a proponent of a supposed miracle herb/medicine but “she couldn’t remember the name of it.” Do they do that on purpose so that the lack of strong evidence for any one point is obscured? You seemed so intent on explaining your position that you failed to explore the position of your Interviewee. Why does he focus on the patient? It seems you missed an opportunity to explore a perhaps significant viewpoint of doctors who think reforming the system is useless and who therefore prefer to focus on the patient in front of them, encouraging them to take a proactive role with regard to their own health.

A thoughtful, idea-driven program that challenges mainstream scientific consensus across topics like medical censorship, psychedelic medicine, mental health, and holistic well-being. Episodes pair expert researchers with critics and journalists to question policy, media narratives, and evolving science, often exploring regulatory, ethical, and practical implications. Notable for high-profile guests and provocative debates, it frequently centers on how evidence, advocacy, and public communication shape policy and public understanding. Recent discussions highlight psychedelic research, vaccine policy, and geopolitical issues, making it appealing for listeners who want rigorous, occasionally contrarian dialogue that interrogates dominant narra... more
