  • Pretty good show

Liberal standing biased opinion program. Ursula comes off as the mother that lives next-door. G comes off as your bud that plays victim a little too much. Then they have their narcissistic producer “Chef” that loves to bully his opinions, and he’ll even talk down to you in the text line if he doesn’t like what you say.

The show brings a good group of diversity and audience, which is nice and overall it’s good hearted in nature, which is what’s most appealing and why I keep listening.

  • Very Insightful

I am always happy when running errands with Gee and Ursula playing on KIRO. They offer diverse points of view and cover a large variety of topics that most of us have an opinion on. It makes the errand running more entertaining and the time go by faster.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 2: If Everybody Wants to Crack Down, Why Isn’t It Working?
Q: Can you agree and understand why over the last week there's a lot of skepticism about the millionaire's tax?”,
The guest explains skepticism depends on information sources and how information is communicated, suggesting that clear, transparent dialogue is essential to address constituent concerns while still advocating for the policy.
Hour 1: Seattle Area Prices Jump From a Year Ago
Q: How worried should we be about hantavirus exposure in King County right now?
Dr. Rabinowitz explains that while monitoring three individuals signals caution, there is no confirmed infection yet; the bigger concern is strengthening global health preparedness and staying informed through credible sources.
Hour 2: Is There a Buyer for the Seahawks?
Q: How would you ensure that the proposed tax policy doesn't simply burden working families while trying to raise revenue?
I would implement guardrails to prevent life-raising costs and instead reduce other taxes, expand credits for working families, and use the revenue to fund essential services like childcare and long-term care.
Hour 2: Is There a Buyer for the Seahawks?
Q: What motivates you to challenge the incumbent now, and what are the core differences you bring to the table?
I bring a campaign grounded in grassroots support, zero corporate PAC dollars, and a commitment to policy made as a team with the community, contrasting with the incumbent's more traditional approach.
Hour 2: We Spoke to an Astronaut!
Q: Dr. Love, what's the best meal you've ever had up there?
The astronaut describes creamed spinach as a memorable, surprisingly enjoyable space meal, noting how taste can change in microgravity and how favorites are chosen from a specialized menu.
