I’ve been listening to this show since I was 13, now I’m 30. Living out of state now, I’m really grateful for this steady connection with my Seattle roots. Brock and Salk are great compliments to each other, and it’s actually inspiring how they overcame their differences - something we need more of in this world! Sometimes I miss the younger Salk’s passion for storytelling. Maybe the fact that our teams are better now means the stories tell themselves — or maybe he’s just gotten grumpier with ag... more
Writing a review because Salk said to do it. I’m not a huge sports person, but Brock and Salk make it easy to listen to, learn about and talk about what’s going on in Seattle sports, especially the Mariners. Absolutely a podcast worth your time if you can’t pick it up live from 6am to 10am weekdays… even without Lyle.
RIP Lyle somehow all Salks takes I agree with this season
I was shocked to learn Brock and Salk hadn’t received a review in over a month. Not because I doubted them, but because Salk reminds us to leave one approximately every 14 minutes.
So here it is.
Brock provides actual football expertise. Salk provides enough opinions for three radio hosts. Together they make Seattle sports talk entertaining even when our teams are actively testing our emotional stability.
Five stars. Please don’t let this pity review create unrealistic expectations that anoth... more
Farewell Lyle! It’s been a pleasure enjoying your sarcasm and great baseball takes this past year i’ve been listening! Also, Salk you rock, but with the Sonics return being imminent your “I don’t care about the NBA and don’t care to learn” takes will have to change! Rock on guys
