  • Yuck

I used to listen religiously for few years but kjr is gone off deep end. Low level guests, constant yelling low level guests. Soccer talk, same ole debates and running out Hugh Millen who can’t form a sentence and who rambles on about nothing. Team 710 Brock and Salk!

These hosts just aren’t a fun listen for sports radio, I prefer puck sports podcast. I stopped listening to KJR when him and Jim left as it was the best segment every day

  • Softy Softerson is real piece of work.

Really enjoy the podcast but sometimes Softy is s little sappy. Podcast Commercials are disruptive, annoying and very repetitive.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Softy & Dick 5-29 Hour 3: Hugh Millen and lots of Seahawks talk
Q: What do you think defensive coordinators will do to slow JSN if he is the focal point of the offense?
Defensive coordinators will try to roll coverage to JSN, use man-to-man with safety over the top on one side, and mix zone looks to keep him from getting easy targets, forcing the rest of the offense to step up.
Softy & Dick 6-2 Hour 2: Jon Wilner, Garrett Trade, 1996 Game 7 Montage
Q: Obvious question on the Hall of Fame vote: do you have a vote and will you vote for Mike Leach?
I do not vote, but I would vote for Mike Leach on the first ballot because of his significant and lasting impact on football at all levels.
Softy & Dick 6-5 Hour 1: Russell Wilson thoughts and Fun with Audio
Q: Does Russell Wilson have a clear Hall of Fame trajectory, given his career highs and later declines?
The guests argue there is a mixed trajectory: high early acclaim and a Super Bowl with strong supporting casts, but later controversies and a costly Denver exit complicate the candidacy; the verdict hinges on which criteria voters weight most.
Softy & Dick 5-26 Hour 2: Bill Krueger and Devon Witherspoon latest
Q: Bill, what did you see from yesterday's Mariners game and Luis Castillo's reaction after being yanked?
Krueger explains the piggyback pitching approach is contentious and not ideal, but discusses the decision-making framework behind starting rotations and bullpen roles as a function of roster constraints and strategic balance.
Softy & Dick 5-15 Hour 2: Chuck Powell Joins for the Logo Bracket Tournament
Q: Do you value historical nostalgia over current branding in choosing a champion?
I value a balance, but the nostalgia for the Sonics' basketball skyline logo remains strong because of its global recognizability and iconic status, even though newer logos bring contemporary appeal.
