  • An Acquired Taste

Absolutely love this podcast. Ty and Colby’s dynamic is one that speaks to a true Mariners fandom experience: hesitant optimism, authentic criticism, unfettered hope, and of course some rainy day pessimism. It’s an acquired taste and not one for the faint of heart. Keep it up fellas. (Also, try using “feed 2 birds with 1 crumb” to get PETA off your back :)

  • Too negative

What kind of mariners podcast does t have faith in its best player. Cal Raleigh is killing it! He’s got 50 home runs on August 25th and these guys think he’s only getting 5 more! Pathetic! If you can’t put your faith in Cal in this kind of season, do you deserve to host a show about the Mariners?!?!? He gets at least 59…and i predict he ties or breaks Judge’s record. This is about putting some faith in this player…you two are wimps!

  • Negative Nellys

Even when the M’s are on a run and winning all of the guys on the Pod are super negative all the time. They refuse to be positive even when they play well. They nitpick every player and don’t focus on the good. It is exhausting to listen to

  • A lot better

I used to find this show difficult to listen to due to Colby’s downer vibes, but either he has changed and been not as negative, or I have changed and come to expect nothing of the M’s and let the Seattle chill take hold of me. It’s probably a bit of both, but either way I find this to be a good show now. Despite posting episodes daily, they are able to keep it pretty fresh with good discourse, and they really know their stuff. I wish they’d do more/any colabs with other locked on shows though.
