Colby and Ty are great. Would be a 5 start review if it were just them. Anders and Chris are phoning it in. They’re so bad I wrote my second ever podcast review. Part time attendance, tech issues, sarcastic and whiny with no useful insights.

  • Post cast is a complete waste of time

This 15 minute podcast is ten minutes of ads and two uninformed yahoos reliving the game. I’ve had better game conversations with my 10 year old grandson.

If you really knew your stuff, add some insight.

Listen to the radio postgame broadcast it is so much better.

This is a fantastic podcast- Colby and Ty do a great job. However, sports gambling and betting is actively ruining lives, and we are seeing a huge uptick in death threats and players. The school-age boys that I teach are also becoming addicts to betting. Please- STOP shilling for these companies.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Has Dan Wilson LOST the Seattle Mariners' Clubhouse?! | Mailbag Monday
Q: Is the piggyback pitching approach contributing to losses, or is it a necessary strategy to manage workloads?
They view piggybacking as a flawed concept and advocate for traditional pitching structures that prioritize winning games rather than meeting arbitrary pitch counts.
Has Dan Wilson LOST the Seattle Mariners' Clubhouse?! | Mailbag Monday
Q: Can Dan Wilson maintain control of the clubhouse amid these issues, or has there been a shift in leadership dynamics?
They suggest there might be a drift in leadership perception, with fans and some players questioning his approach and past decisions, though they acknowledge Wilson's stated care for the team.
Has Dan Wilson LOST the Seattle Mariners' Clubhouse?! | Mailbag Monday
Q: Do the Mariners have a culture problem or is this just a rough patch?
The hosts lean toward yes, citing repeated execution errors, defensive lapses, and a perceived lack of accountability, while acknowledging injuries and roster gaps as contributing factors.
Why the Seattle Mariners Likely WON'T Deploy Colt Emerson at Shortstop Despite J.P. Crawford Ailing
Q: Why not give Brennan Davis or Brock Rodden a look at shortstop instead of shuffling Emerson?
They discuss roster depth and the fact that Rob Ruff-Snyder is likely to keep his spot while Connor Joe handles the emergency infield role, with Rodin viewed as a better potential option at short than Davis, who is blocked by Robles returning.
Why the Seattle Mariners Likely WON'T Deploy Colt Emerson at Shortstop Despite J.P. Crawford Ailing
Q: So what I'm wondering is, will Colt Emerson see time at short stop during this series?
The hosts argue that Emerson is being kept at third for long-term development and that Leo Rivas would handle shortstop if JP Crawford needs a day or two, rather than moving Emerson, who is only 20 years old, to a different position.
