  • Talking Hawks

Mike and Chris make great content consisting of organic and raw Seahawks coverage in “Tell the Truth Tuesday” kind of way that I as a fan love. They don’t just tell the truth on Tuesdays by the way. From the film breakdowns and the healthy Seahawks discussions that even after a game loss. I can always count on my hawks news routine with the man2man podcast for optimism leading into the next Hawks game.

    Thanks guys!

  • Most important Pod

Like many of you I listen to all the Seahawks pods. It’s tough to do that with all the content out there, but I get it done. Sometimes I can only half-listen but I always make sure to have my mind free for the Man2Man pod. It’s the most important pod to me because it gets to places in the actual spirit of the Franchise that you won’t experience elsewhere. I really feel like I am listening to the culture being spoken. It’s not hard to hear the author coming through Mike’s voice. And I can’t wait ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Right On Schedule
Q: What do you think the Hawks record will be in those six prime time games?
They forecast a strong five-and-two record in prime-time, with losses in a Chiefs game and a Christmas-day game against the Rams, arguing the team can likely steal several high-profile wins given their coaching and roster edge.
Turn On The Tape: 5 Seahawks Draft Fits w/ Kyron Samuels
Q: What about CJ Allen as an off-ball linebacker—what unique traits does he bring that could translate to the NFL and Seattle specifically?
Allen blends instinct with downhill aggression, reads plays quickly, and mirrors backs and tight ends effectively. His processing and goose-step speed help him diagnose and trigger, which could make him a multi-year starter especially in a defense that emphasizes leverage and fast decisions.
Turn On The Tape: 5 Seahawks Draft Fits w/ Kyron Samuels
Q: Kai, how do you assess Colton Hood's fit for Seattle's defense and what makes him stand out on tape?
Hood shows a rare combination of length, athleticism, and football IQ. He reads plays well, shows discipline in coverage, and his physicality allows him to impact the run and pass game. He projects as a first-round talent if the medicals and the speed stats align with the tape, and he can thrive in Seattle's scheme where versatility is prized.
Offseason Mailbag
Q: What is the window for the Seahawks plan to win the Super Bowl?
The window should focus on the next two years given the uncertainty and variables inherent in NFL seasons.
Offseason Mailbag
Q: Will the Seahawks re-sign Geno Smith?
I think Geno will be on the roster in 2023 because of the current needs of the team and the fact that he has no desire to leave.
