  • Self proclaimed “Ball-knower” doesn’t know ball.

Ball knower Jackson Bevens is obnoxious as they come. Getting a take wrong is common in sports media but this guy doubles it down on bad takes. Nothing to see here.

  • Great show

Thoughtful insights with great guests. The only downside is inconsistent uploads which are usually followed with reasonable excuses (such as breaking his face open after falling 6 ft). Otherwise it’s a great show and every episode is a must-listen for me.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mailbag: Jacson answers your questions about free agency, the draft, and more
Q: Will the Seahawks' draft strategy hinge on positional needs like cornerback, running back, and interior line, or will best-player-available prevail again?
The host describes a balanced view: Schneider has trended toward best-player-available in the past, but with current roster needs and depth concerns at running back and interior line, Seattle may lean toward positional need without compromising BPA considerations.
Mailbag: Jacson answers your questions about free agency, the draft, and more
Q: Is continuity a strength given the returning roster, and how might the offensive coordinator impact that continuity?
Continuity should be a strength, but the new OC brings a potential sequence-change dynamic; the host notes that Kubiak did well previously in Seattle and that Fleury's system could either replicate or evolve the offense, depending on how well personnel adapt.
Mailbag: Jacson answers your questions about free agency, the draft, and more
Q: How confident should we be in Brian Fleury's ability to adjust the offense compared to Clint Kubiak, given his background?
While Fleury comes from the Shanahan system and has a strong offensive pedigree, there is cautious optimism due to limited public data on his play-calling; the host highlights Kubiak's success and notes that Fleury's fit with Seattle's offense will require time and performance to validate.
Mailbag: Jacson answers your questions about free agency, the draft, and more
Q: What is the Seahawks' number one draft priority and how should they approach the draft with only four picks?
The emphasis would be on edge/defense and interior offensive line, with a preference to trade back to collect more picks given the late overall draft position; if they stay put, a corner, guard, and a capable back who can contribute in the passing game would be prioritized. The host also emphasizes not forcing a pick and trusting the process if a top prospect falls.
Mailbag: Jacson answers your questions about free agency, the draft, and more
Q: Which player in this draft would you trade up for and how far would he need to fall?
The host suggests that Seattle is unlikely to trade up from a late first due to lack of capital, but if a cornerback like Chris Johnson from San Diego State is available around the end of the first, he would be a highly valued target; otherwise, back-into-the-first or aiming for a Day Two/Three profile like Emmett Johnson could be more realistic depending on board dynamics.
