  • Need more MLB

Bump and Stacy are great host. They bring a fun and entertaining experience for radio. Being a partner with the Mariners, I would prefer to see more love shown to the M’s. I often find myself swapping shows to hear baseball news and analysis. NFL talk is prioritized, even in the summer or during Mariners playoff run.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 3: John Boyle on the start of Seahawks Minicamp
Q: What do you think of the offense so far? What have you observed?
From the early phase, there isn't a wholesale change expected; the offense will likely resemble last year's structure with some new wrinkles from the new coordinator, plus emphasis on building game plans and depth across the week.
Hour 3: The Seattle Times’ Adam Jude on when Cal Raleigh will rejoin the Mariners
Q: During this stretch of play, what stuck with you most about this team?
Adam Jude highlighted that beyond the winning stretch, the defense had improved and the pitching and timely hitting began to click together, giving the Mariners a sense of stability across all phases of the game.
Hour 4: The Seattle Times’ Ryan Divish on what the Mariners will do with Munoz
Q: What do you see in Adam Munoz and why has he been struggling lately?
Munoz goes through streaks where he doesn't command well and the game speeds up on him; he can get ahead after a first strike but when he falls behind 2-0 or 3-0, trouble tends to follow. His strengths are stuff and command within the strike zone, and his team-wide usage depends on his consistency and comfort in closing.
Hour 4: Jarran Reed on working within the Seahawks defense scheme
Q: How does command of the offense by the quarterback influence the defense's approach this season?
A strong command from the QB and coaches sets a confident baseline, allowing the defense to fit in and play with trust in the scheme.
Hour 4: Jarran Reed on working within the Seahawks defense scheme
Q: What have you seen from the younger players and how they've adjusted to the championship standard?
Reed highlights rookie contributions, work ethic, and the importance of staying hungry and coachable, with veterans guiding them while continuing to improve.
