  • Need more MLB

Bump and Stacy are great host. They bring a fun and entertaining experience for radio. Being a partner with the Mariners, I would prefer to see more love shown to the M’s. I often find myself swapping shows to hear baseball news and analysis. NFL talk is prioritized, even in the summer or during Mariners playoff run.

Would be 5 stars but for the moon landing denial. I get enough conspiracy theories on social media. Don’t flirt with crazy, please.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 2: John Boyle on the Seahawks’ Lumen Field Scrimmage
Q: What was the best thing you saw at FanFest Saturday?
Milro looked calm and displayed a clear plan in his throws, showing improved pocket presence and accuracy, which stood out as a sign of growth in a high-pressure scouting environment.
Hour 4: The Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta previews the Seahawks’ preseason opener
Q: First down, who is your dark horse to be the number three receiver in football this year?
Odell Beckham Jr. is the vintage pick for a veteran presence at receiver, signaling that even as the league shifts, experienced playmakers can still surprise by seizing a role as a high-end third option.
Hour 4: The Seattle Times’ Adam Jude on how Dan Wilson is reacting to the Mariners losses
Q: What do you hear about Cal Raleigh and the sense you get from him?
Jude explains Raleigh has been dealing with an oblique issue and a significant drop in production; he notes it may be health- or mentally-driven, and that the organization should prepare for an off-season reset rather than expecting a quick fix this year.
Hour 4: The Seattle Times’ Adam Jude on how Dan Wilson is reacting to the Mariners losses
Q: Have you seen a shift in maybe Dan's approach when he's around the team talking to the team, or has it just been pretty consistent all year?
Adam Jude describes Wilson as consistently even-keeled—steady, non-emotional, and optimistic about a turnaround, which he views as a core strength even when results have lagged.
Hour 4: Friday Night Baseball’s Tricia Whitaker, Seahawks WR Rashid Shaheed, and Seahawks LB DeMarcus Lawrence
Q: What do you see as the issue with Cal? And I'll throw in and Julio, I guess, who just hasn't gotten hot yet.
The combination of timing issues, possible lingering effects from the oblique injury, and a disrupted spring training cycle, with the possibility that the WBC and workload also contribute, but timing and mechanics seem central.
