  • Need more MLB

Bump and Stacy are great host. They bring a fun and entertaining experience for radio. Being a partner with the Mariners, I would prefer to see more love shown to the M’s. I often find myself swapping shows to hear baseball news and analysis. NFL talk is prioritized, even in the summer or during Mariners playoff run.

Would be 5 stars but for the moon landing denial. I get enough conspiracy theories on social media. Don’t flirt with crazy, please.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 2: Ryan Rowland-Smith on the Mariners’ series win over the Braves
Q: One of the most common questions I saw when Cole Young was heating up is, should Cole get moved up in the lineup and when Cal was struggling, should Cal be moved back?
Ryan suggested that neither Cole nor Cal should be moved purely for the moment; instead, he stressed patience with Cal due to the WBC disruption and emphasized leveraging Cal's power in a stable spot to let him regain rhythm and confidence.
Hour 4: The Seattle Times’ Ryan Divish on how the Mariners can fix Cal Raleigh
Q: What do you see as the main issue with Cal Raleigh right now, injury, mental, or something else?
Divish argues it's more mental at the moment, with Raleigh pressing to produce and a few at-bats where he chased pitches, but he still believes Raleigh can reestablish his approach by focusing on walks and patient counts rather than chasing for immediate power.
Hour 2: MLB Network’s Adnan Virk on Cal Raleigh and the Mariners’ new six-man rotation
Q: How viable is a six-man rotation for the Mariners, and what are the potential pitfalls?
A six-man rotation can extend innings for young pitchers and reduce bullpen strain, but it risks clashing with veteran pitchers' routines and long-term value; adjustments and auditions are needed, and it's unlikely to last a full season but can work in short stints.
Hour 2: MLB Network’s Adnan Virk on Cal Raleigh and the Mariners’ new six-man rotation
Q: What do you make of Cal Raleigh's slow start and how might that affect Seattle's early-season outlook?
Raleigh's previous 60-homer season sets a high baseline, but injuries and wear may influence early performance; the panel discusses expectations and whether this is a blip or a trend, with Virk noting the mental toll of public scrutiny and endorsements as possible contributing factors.
Hour 3: Brock Huard on the Seahawks signing Dante Fowler Jr.
Q: Why did the Seahawks choose Fowler over other edge players like Jadevian Clowney?
The guest suggests Fowler fits better as a consistent, above-average contributor who can be relied upon in multiple spots, and the team seems to value his fit within the current defensive system and with coach Dirty.
