Michelle & Amanda catch up on things, they talk about pandemic gardening, what itās been like to work at a seed company while everyone is panic-buying seeds and, oddly... adding air-conditioning to old houses.
Michelle & Amanda get extra nerdy talking about seeds, a subject that makes them both a little giddy.
Talking with Niki Jabbour about experimenting with new vegetables, accents and Maseratis
Michelle swears at song birds and recommends a garden hose that stuns Amanda into silence. Also in this show, fall cleanups, leaves, bulbs and so much more.
Amanda and Michelle hang on a little too tightly to their unpopular opinions about bottle trees, wind chimes and sundials.
Every Garden Girls podcast has a ā-tionā word theme, this week itās Resurrection. Our guest is Dr. Bob Lyons, who we could talk to all damn day but our attention-starved dogs have something to say about that.
The Garden Girls are Michelle Gervais and Amanda Thomsen. In todayās episode, they explain why they are qualified to be The Garden Girls. They talk about their backgrounds, current gardens and quite a bit about runaway ground cherries.
I've enjoyed the few episodes so far and hope Amanda and Michelle will record some more!
Liking the plant funky things . Troupes yes. Talking about seeds.
I love the informal vibe and all the valuable information
So happy to have stumbled upon this podcast. This is exactly the type of garden podcast Iāve been looking for. Really enjoy the informal/realistic/normal person point of view. Thanks!
I was a huge fan of Good Enough Gardening, and have missed it terribly. Yesterday I was browsing through various podcasts, and stumbled across this return of Amanda Thomsen, along with Michelle Gervais. I'm now binging on their initial episodes, and am feeling the call of gardening again! I truly hope they return in the spring, and I've added them to my "Go To" podcast list so I'll know the moment a new episode drops.
I so appreciate the hosts laid back view on gardening. So many people out there make gardens seem so unattainable and I feel like you ladies help show people there are so many options for your own garden.
Absolutely loved the garden art episode. My fav!! š
Like the podcast on Garden Decoration. Itās goes through every overdone garden deco. Funny and true. Made me laugh.
I started listening to this while puttering in my greenhouse and ended up listening to it in the car and while making lunch, didnāt want to turn it off! I enjoyed the dynamic between the hosts and am really looking forward to more interviews. Mostly I listen to house plant podcasts that are more from a customerās perspective so I am very much looking forward to listening to one that is more geared towards professionals in my industry. Thank you for taking the time to put this together!

Thank you for providing a podcast that a fairly young, relaxed horticulturist actually enjoys listening to! Yours is the first gardening podcast I'm not slogging through.
Iām a huge fan of both Amanda and Michelle who are inspiring, informative and hilarious. I canāt wait for more episodes.
