  • Useful & Resourceful Entertainment

Just started listening now for maybe a couple of months. I am hooked. On my drive home or listening when I work, I just really enjoy Jen & Jill’s sense of humor. I have already found this podcast to not only be helpful to me but also very entertaining. This is my vibe and I feel like we could really be frugal friends in real life lol

  • Corny

I’ve tried listening to this podcast but the corny banter is annoying. I listened to one where they just interrupted the guest constantly making jokes that weren’t even funny. Just making it about them. I didn’t receive any tangible or wise comments as take aways from this show. There are more intelligent and effective podcasts out there on this topic. They think they are experts on financial advice and how they even have a podcast is kind of baffling to be honest.

  • Changing direction

Used to love this podcast but recently listened to a few from the last few months and it’s going a different direction. New click bait sounding titles, clips from short form social media.. I’m listening to a podcast because I hate that stuff. I still like the ladies but maybe they are trying to appeal to a new crowd or something..

Jen & Jill….you are my wise and hilarious parasocial guardian angels and your podcast/book helped me change my life!

I started listening to the Frugal Friends Podcast on January 1, 2025 while putting away Christmas decorations. Probably thinking I had overspent during the holidays and could use some frugality in my life! I had been in a never ending cycle of consumer debt for 17 years. I’m not sure what changed in my brain by listening to your bills of the week and lightning rounds but I decide... more

  • Such helpful information

Absolutely love all the wonderful, engaging and helpful information Jen and Jill share. Such a variety of impactful topics, and they make them all engaging while encouraging their audience, rather than shaming them. Was recently teaching a financial literacy class. When asked about podcasts I’d recommend, this is the first one I mentioned!
