I loved Desiraeâs practical tips for creating slow mornings â It reminded me of when I was a brand-new mom living in Alaska. Winters there are no joke â way too cold for a one-year-old to be outside for months on end. Without even realizing it, I was practicing slow living before it was âa thingâ â just me, my baby, and a whole lot of presence.
