This podcast was more than I expected and validated my feelings toward GBM and grieving the loss of my husband. Personal stories were so similar to mine I just wanted to shout out “me, too!” And experts who were willing to talk about new research and development gave me hope that one day there will be an advance in treatment.
My wife was diagnosed with a GBM brain tumor in January. As her caregiver, I am constantly seeking out sources of information that can help me manage her treatment and improve her odds of long-term survival. I have found this podcast to be an incredibly valuable source of information, presented in an empathetic and caring manner. I strongly recommend that anyone dealing with brain cancer and specifically GBM subscribe and listen to this podcast.
Having been diagnosed with GBM state 4 is tough especially during the midst of a pandemic. This podcast gives hope to those who are diagnosed with this rare disease.
Shannon is a fantastic and open host
I’m very much enjoying this podcast. I lost my mom to Glioblastoma 3 weeks ago and it’s still so fresh and new. Sadly this cancer took her in just 6 short months. I never heard of Glioblastoma until my mom’s diagnosis. We need more awareness brought to this disease. We need more treatment options and ultimately we need a cure! We need more people talking about this and sharing their stories. I will be advocating hard for Glioblastoma patients and families. Thank you for what you are doing!
