  • I survived 22

    Dear Nora and team,

Just heard the story about the adventuress who moved to a new state w the useless bois-friend and successfully escaped that situation.

If she can pull that off at 22, she can take over the world by my age, 60-plus.

She just needs to acknowledge that she is a superstar, and go out and do whatever she wants!

I wish she were my friend, but I live in Canada.

    Maybe plan to come visit.

  • Love the old and new formats!

I discovered TTFA last year while going through a really tough time and binged a ton of old episodes. I was so sad when I heard that the show was being put on a permanent hiatus (like really?? what timing I have!) and I wasn’t sure what to expect of the new format. The first few episodes in the new format were a bit awkward while Nora found her groove with callers, but now I love the mix of call-in episodes, special guests, and Nora just talking off-the-cuff. I could listen to her talk all day I... more

  • The Widower

A friend shared “The Widower” yesterday and the widow could have been my last relationship minus a few details. Although I am not a widow, I was married for 22 years and have been divorced for 9. I initiated the divorce-that’s another story-and I tell people I am happily divorced. I also stopped telling recently divorced people, “I’m sorry.” When I heard this after my divorce, I would say, “No, it’s a good thing.” If I encounter people who are going through a divorce, I always ask, “Is this a go... more

  • I used to love this podcast …

I’m not sure what happened to this podcast … but it is not at all what it used to be. I know she went behind a subscription wall… then went independent… now she’s back with these incomplete topics that feel half baked. Used to be an incredible podcast and truly sad to see what it is now …..
