I love this podcast. JJ, Mark, And Brian are entertaining, genuine, and knowledgable guys providing an awesome podcast with their gaming stories and top 5 lists. I always look forward to listening to next episode. Keep up the great work!
Nice variety covering some old and new along with a nice emphasis on Japanese developed titles. Has a great flow and good hosts!
I came across this podcast while doing research for a novel I'm writing about a computer hacker who discovers that life as he knows it is really an artificial reality perpetrated by a race of machines that live off of the humans' body heat and electrochemical energy.
A great podcast, the topics are interesting every episode. The guys are hilarious and the production quality is really good. A must-subscribe for anyone who loves gaming and laughing.
I really enjoy the way the hosts work together. Very professional while being fun at the same time. Great mix of current gaming news and retro talk. You had me at Cyndi......Sydney.....Sid....
I have been hooked since episode one and your insights into the RPG genre are both entertaining and thought provoking.
Definitely a great podcast, I know these guys personally they put a lot of work into this (at least JJ does lol), but you could definitely tell. Keep up the good work guys I enjoy listening.
I like JJ, I like Marc, Brian is ok
Look forward to every new episode these guys record. Always have great topics and opinions about new and old games. Love the fact that they enjoy story driven games. Also love the humor and poking fun at each other. Would recommend to any gamer with a love of new and old games.
Definitely a great start. These guys really know their stuff! I like that they cover both old and new games. I can see this helping me to find those great story based games that I might've missed (Thereby allowing me to save money by buying used).
Only just started listening to this podcast but already feel compelled to leave a review. Half the battle with any successful podcast is having likeable hosts, and the three guys at the helm of The Frozen North pull it off with aplomb. It also helps that they love the same types of games as me and it's great to hear them rap about them.
Just found this out and it's awesome great podcast guys I wish I could meet you guys
I like this group of guys, they cover a good selection of jrpg and wrpg. I like their format of doing top list every episode. Listen to it.
These guys...
The hosts always sound like they're having fun as they cover a mix of new and old games. Instead of boring the listeners with a broken scoring system the way many websites do they just tell us whether they recommend a game or not. I enjoy their casual energy and their chemistry has improved with each episode. This podcast is mainly about story driven games so as long as you aren't expecting reviews of Call of Duty or Tony Hawk you may find 'these guys' to be a fun listen!
The hosts are engaging and the conversation is easy to follow. The reviews aren't super in-depth, but they do cover enough information to give me a good idea of how interested I would be in trying the games they talk about. Episode 2 gets extra points with me for naming Albel from Star Ocean 3 as one of the top five best video game villians.
Its a nice "pop the cherry" of the podcast family. Lightly discuss games with person reviews and overall awareness of gaming in general. Needs a little better flow between topics, but like i said it's a start. Looking forward to the next episode.
