  • Friar Town Has Found a New Voice

Billy is a natural talker and you can tell how at ease he makes his guests. The conversations never feel awkward or forced and it’s always interesting content from his amazing guests. An interview is only as good as the interviewer and Billy shows he is going to rise to meet that mark! Highly recommend.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 99 | Adam Finkelstein
Q: How important is retaining current players like Jameer Jones and Oswin Arumsay for the next coach?
Critical; keeping high-potential players who are still developing, like Jones and Arumsay, will determine how quickly PC can return to competing at a high level.
Episode 99 | Adam Finkelstein
Q: What about candidates like Brian Hodgkin or Jared Calhoun makes them intriguing fits for Providence?
Hodgkin brings elite recruitment and tempo; Calhoun has a strong connection to the region and a track record of building programs with upward mobility, which could align with PC's goals.
Episode 99 | Adam Finkelstein
Q: What does PC need from its next head coach in the new era of NIL and conference realignment?
The next coach must be capable of delivering wins quickly, adapt to the NIL era, and connect with the fan base while preserving a solid infrastructure.
Episode 94 | Rock Bottom
Q: What do you think happens from here? From a coaching perspective, from a team perspective?
There's got to be a coaching change, I think, this season.
Episode 94 | Rock Bottom
Q: Even though you weren't there in person, do you think that was one of the worst losses you've seen covering the Friars?
Oh, yeah. Oh, without a doubt. I mean, considering the circumstance, the lead, everything, yeah. I mean, I can't think of many that are worse off the top of my head, to be honest.
