  • What a great down to earth show

Chad, I personally want to thank you for thanking farmers in E429. I farm for a living and most hunting seasons are consumed by being busy in the fields. I have learned a lot about waterfowl listening to this show as this will be my 2nd season hunting waterfowl. Love what you are doing and thanks for all you do!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

E573 - Wisconsin DNR's Taylor Finger on Tracking Waterfowl Migration | The Travel WIsconsin Series
Q: What is going on now that hunters can actively do to participate in the migration and improve success in the fall?
Hunter-focused activities include summer scouting, field surveillance of crops like wheat and corn, and understanding habitat and water conditions so they can predict where birds will be during the season.
E566 - Frog Legs Field to Table | Scouting Season Starts Now - The Provider Eat Wild Series
Q: James, I want to ask you some questions. Not everybody's had a chance to eat frog legs, but I find them absolutely delicious. You eat them frequently. That is a field-to-table meal you're eating. You hunt ducks and geese, and a lot of people don't realize the same thing that you do with ducks or geese, poppers or breaded and fried, is the same thing you can do with frog legs.
James explains that frog legs can be prepared in many of the same ways as waterfowl, from light breading and frying to smoking, and emphasizes the versatility and accessibility of frog leg dishes as part of a broader field-to-table approach.
E561 - Deconstructed Spring Rolls with Wild Turkey - The Provider Eat Wild Series
Q: What did you think of the dinner, Chad?
I thought it was amazing, with a fantastic first course of the shredded turkey and an overall sense that the flavors were bold yet balanced, showcasing how wild game can be prepared lighter and fresher.
E547 - Ted Nugent: truth, Logic and Common Sense
Q: What is your view on protest etiquette and the role of law enforcement in protests?
Nugent emphasizes safety and de-escalation, but argues that when protests turn violent or pose threats to lives, law enforcement and trained responders should act to protect citizens.
E538 - Cody Cannon: Songs, Shows, and the Miles Between
Q: Do you still love it? Do you still look forward to it?
Cody confirms he still loves performing, stating that the anticipation of the crowd excites him.
