  • Luke warm so I spit you out.

Wish they would dial back some of the profanity. I don't mind occasional words but taking the Lord's name in vain and saying JFC, GFD, etc makes me immediately turn off the show. And they claim to be Christians? DO BETTER.

  • Love the show

Love the show guys. I think that last 10 min Tuesday was all very good insight. The only thing I gotta say is.. This whole “it’s a grind” thing and how tough being a guide is and you’re tired, grumpy, whatever. I don’t care. It is your job lol. Don’t guide if you’re complaining about any aspect of the work and you’re also dealing with people and you know that going into it. If the clients suck. It doesn’t matter. No one else signed you up to be there. Be a man. Shut up. Suck it up. Do your job.

  • Flooded corn

You made a comment about people still flooding corn to hold ducks and just not hunting over it. Given current area of influence rules you would not be allowed to hunt in the area

I would t mind no hunting after a certain time. But for me I work most mornings and evenings are when I go out the most,

What Was Your A-Ha Hunting Moment?
Q: what's the biggest aha moment you had in your career that completely changed how you look at the marsh slash waterfowling?
The biggest aha moment was recognizing that you can't rely on the field with the most birds; you must evaluate the field's hideability, bird behavior, and how they are coming in. When we stopped chasing sheer numbers and started choosing fields based on how birds exit and move, scouting details like safety, roosting, and grouping became the driving factors for success.
Andy the Goose, Say What?!
Q: Is it illegal to shoot albino deer in Wisconsin?
Yes, it is protected by state law, making it illegal.
Andy the Goose, Say What?!
Q: Are porcupines known to shoot their quills at geese who bother them along river banks?
They can't shoot them but they can whip their tails to detach some quills that will then fly into the air.
Duck Hunting is Changing
Q: What would it look like if every state required you to win a lottery draw if you were a non-resident?
It would lead to a significant reduction in hunting pressure and potentially help preserve duck populations.
Hard Questions: Do Duck Surveys Work? with Mike Anderson
Q: What do you think the number one issue is with duck hunting in Minnesota?
Education is key, but pressure on the resources is also a critical issue.
