Listen on my commute to work and enjoy it. Interesting perspectives.
Finally, a podcast that doesn’t just recycle the same mainstream titles. They go deep into the genre, the kind of episodes you can only make if you really love horror. Legit one of my new favorites.
The chemistry between the hosts is so good. They’re hilarious but still manage to keep things smart and just the right amount of creepy. It’s my new go-to when I need something entertaining that isn’t mindless.
I usually don’t like true crime for its empty graciousness but this one really works for me because it draws connections between true crimes and culture / horror movies. The hosts are fun, willing to get into the nitty gritty and the gory, but never take it too far — each with their own unique perspective I can connect with.
The hosts are sharp, funny, and weirdly comforting while talking about genuinely terrifying stuff. Feels like Radiolab and Criminal had a spooky baby.
