I cannot believe I'm so attached with a bunch of kids in a horrible horrible town trying their best. It's so well made. The story, the characters, the attention to the rules and especially the people are awesome.
The crew from TDC are a relatively new addition to the Pathfinder actual play world, but they quickly rose above the pack with their top-notch sound and production quality and wild adaptation of an oft-looked over AP. Their Second Darkness run and their depiction of the city of Riddleport in particular feels alive in ways few other shows have been able to emulate, and the player characters are grounded in their reality but quickly rise to the occasion and start their hero's journey. Interesting if deeply flawed characters that develop organically from ruffians to reluctant heroes. They do a good job with a few of the issues with Second Darkness, and make it a very entertaining tale.
These guys are having fun! It took me a while to catch up, but I'm glad I did! It's been a great ride listing to the Dice Crisis crew play such an early AP, and any reservations about Second Darkness disappeared after hearing Allard GM the first two books so far. Continue doing a good job, guys!
