  • =1 of the best podcasts out there!

Pure gold. The guys really know what they’re talking about.

This podcast has to be the most complete series about everything Deep Purple.

It’s happened more than once that Nate and John made me rediscover some songs and albums. They really got me hooked on the album rankings - does it match with my perception of what is a killer album and what is mediocre? Wait until John tells you where it found its place in the spreadsheet!

And if that’s not enough and you want more of Deep Purple and all the... more

  • Good idea - but waaaaay too long and full of small talk nonsense they could easily chop out.

I was really interested to see this but, oh my, these guys desperately need an editor.

  • C”mon Guys, Do better.

I was most interested to hear The Dixie Dogs were inbound on the podcast. But what a disappontment from this DP diehard.i own most of the DD’s records and come and go with them, but you really failed to grasp both what they did and why it matters. You chronically mistake instruments and Sound modifications you hear. I could list about ten you got wrong, but why ? You wouldn’t care, even though it’s your job as “experts” to know such things.

Episode 335 - Armageddon (with Jonatan Hedlin)
Q: So what's that all about? How are you internet?
I'm out playing this fall, kind of internationally, with one North American date and that's in Canada.
Episode 335 - Armageddon (with Jonatan Hedlin)
Q: What's the name of the band for our listeners?
The band name is Life Lover, which may not be much about loving life.
Bonus Episode #15 – Nick Simper Interview
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about your touring experience with Purple while you were with them?
Touring was great. We knew we were good and different, and after touring we realized we could hold our own with anybody.
Episode #288 - Glenn Hughes - Feel (Part 2)
Q: How do you rank the song 'Holy Man'?
I have to give it a 2.5 because there were things about it in the original that make it special, and things were missing in this version.
Episode #288 - Glenn Hughes - Feel (Part 2)
Q: What are your thoughts on 'Talking to Messiah'?
That'll get a definite four. It's heavy, it's got a good riff. The verses resonated with me, just had this sense of urgency.
