  • Serious! Fun!

Ritchies brings in great interviews talking with a wide variety of views, in and out of the Church, being serious, being fun, and doing all the things to be thought provoking. He and his cohosts also do so well together, and he has such a great variety of voices to play off of. Definitely worth listening to this podcast in show form.

  • Just get to the News Already!

I usually just listen to the AON because I don’t really care for the Temple or Hymns segments and some of the interviews are not interesting to me. I wish that the banter between the hosts was much less and that actual news was being presented. By the time all the personal observations and opinions are presented there is time for only a few items. The hosts themselves say that they should have budgeted the time better but each week it is the same. There are other podcasts that have snarky ban... more

  • You keep me light hearted

Thank you for your work keeping us updated and also enlightening us on most things within the LDS church. As my culture within the church has changed, you have been a guide for me.

Keep interviewing the solid guests and sharing the news. Much of what you share is not readily available for those of us outside of the Jello belt.

Loved the Lindy interview today! Also, looking forward to our temple dedication #201 this weekend. Go Wyo!

Q: Why did you choose to focus on Christensen's mural work and his Nephi flip charts?
The discussion highlights Christensen's role in early LDS visual culture, including the Nephi flip chart contest and the Manti Temple murals, as examples of how art was used to communicate scripture and how these pieces influenced later LDS publications and manuals.
