  • Excellent show for game collectors

Johnny and Tyler know their stuff and they’re very entertaining too. They have great chemistry on the show, and are very approachable if you have questions about collecting. They have been collecting games for a long time and have lots of knowledge about the intricacies of collecting, if you care about more than just collecting games because it’s sealed or expensive. Even if you do only care because of the recent rise in retro game prices, they share a lot of important knowledge about game colle... more

Johnny and Tyler serve up a gem of a podcast (at least 9.8A++ every episode!). Two friends, shootin’ the breeze about their favorite thing: collecting mass media (which is all goin’ to the moon, baby! 😂).

On a serious note, these guys are genuinely passionate about this stuff, are super knowledgeable, and have built an awesome community around the show. Give them a listen; you’ll be glad that you did.

  • They don’t want you probably

They take digs at conservatives. I would hazard a guess, they don’t care if you listen. So save your time and look somewhere else

CQ 286 - Psychology Ruining the Hobby
Q: What kind of questions do you enjoy answering and what kind of questions do you dislike?
I enjoy answering all kinds of questions, especially those related to collecting video games and that give us something meaningful to discuss.
CQAD - Christmas Bonus "Episode"
Q: Would you rather have a pause button for life or a fast forward button?
Pause button is still way more useful.
CQAD - Christmas Bonus "Episode"
Q: Would you rather lose your entire collection or never be allowed to buy a game again?
Oh, never try? What are you talking about?
CQ 277 - Video Games From Another Angle
Q: Assume you have unlimited money, but it can only be used on your collection. How would you shift your collecting goals, if any?
The hosts would want to eliminate the limits of collecting due to finances, expand their collections extensively, and hire people to help document everything and create a well-organized repository for video game history.
CQ 262 - What are "Indie" games and are they worth collecting?
Q: Is it true that bigger budgets define whether a game is indie?
While many think of indie games as small-budget projects, some larger titles, such as certain releases by established studios, might still qualify as indie depending on their financial backing and publishing model.
