Love the show but the played music and interviews were so quiet (again) it was next to impossible to hear them. I had my volume turned up to max and I couldn’t hear the deep purple interview that well. This did get better with some of the last podcasts but this is back to how it used to be now. Surely this is fixable? This is a shame as the content is good but no good if you can’t hear it.....

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Remembering Boston's Tommy DeCarlo Who Passed Away Today
Q: What was it like collaborating with Frontiers on Dancing in the Moonlight, and how did the writing process shape the album?
Frontiers handled the writing and production with a top-notch team; the album was ready for me to add vocals, which allowed me to contribute where I could and enjoy the strength of the material they curated.
Remembering Boston's Tommy DeCarlo Who Passed Away Today
Q: How did you cope with the sudden attention after stepping onto the Boston stage for the Brad Delp tribute?
I stayed grounded and focused on the music, recognizing that the spotlight is temporary and the work and relationships in the industry matter more than fame.
Metal Pioneers "Onslaught" with Nige Rockett
Q: What would you have done differently with London Records in hindsight?
We might have chosen a label that understood our genre and timeline better, perhaps an A&M-type situation; in retrospect, a different A&R relationship could have extended our longevity during that era.
Metal Pioneers "Onslaught" with Nige Rockett
Q: How did the Motorhead tour influence your approach to touring and being on the road?
Motorhead showed us how to balance production, discipline, and camaraderie; their level of support for other bands on tour created a template for respect and professionalism that we carried forward into our own touring practices.
Metal Pioneers "Onslaught" with Nige Rockett
Q: What was it like turning up outside Atlantic Studios and seeing the cathedral-like history there?
It was awe-inspiring to be in a place with such a lineage, and you could feel the density of legacy around every corridor; it was both intimidating and energizing, reminding us we were part of something bigger than our own band.
