The Brothers Karamazov and Friends

Albert Watkins

Why? Because the only thing better than a Russian novel is a Russian novel podcast. There are only three rules: 1. There are no re-do's. 2. No help with pronunciation. 3. You have to do voices for th... more

  • Tough to describe, yet somehow easier to experience...

My experience was something akin to hearing a Marlon Brando voice reading Russian lit sprinkled with Eric Idle of Monty Python(?)... Can not capture it yet, but will still recommend. Laughed heartily during Episode 3. My question is: can they possibly keep it up? -and does Phil have that many friends to complete this epic work?

  • It's a Really Long Book.

What an interesting way to work through a really long book. I don't know...I came in with really low expectations, so that's probably why I thought it was brilliant. Go ahead and take a listen. You might not regret it.
