Lame
The podcast is decent. Guests are cool. I just wish the host wouldn’t try to fit 20 words in a 5 word question. He starts to ask the question and then drags it out with “ums” “likes” “such as” etc.. maybe write down the question and just read it word for word. Or if you can’t form the question in your head just let the guest speak. Again, good content, just some quirks to work on. I’ll be listening.
Mason & Cullen are great together, they get the best guests and ask really good questions.
Growing up in this Tooth and Nail/ Solid State/ Christian music scene is great to listen to the artists that I listen to and hearing about new bands to discover. Keep up the great work! Oh and keep working on getting Josh Scogin to come on 🤘
I love the podcast and the interviews you guys do, but could you please turn down the volume on your ads. here lately they are so loud other than that. Great job.
Mason is so knowledgeable and I love when he upsets the “masculine” Christian dudes 😂

A music- and culture-forward interview show focused on heavy, alternative, and underground scenes. Across episodes, hosts chat with musicians, producers, and scene insiders from punk, metalcore, ska, and Christian music, offering deep dives into band histories, creative processes, touring life, and industry shifts. A standout trait is the lively, knowledgeable banter between co-hosts, often centering on authenticity, community, and the evolving music landscape; guests range from longtime bands to rising acts, with a shared emphasis on candid storytelling over glossy promotion. This makes it a strong pick for listeners who love genre-spanning conversations, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and insights into independent music culture. The format'... more
