  • Great guests, average interviewing

This show has a solid list of guests and topics, but the host starts nearly every question with “kinda bring me through that album”. And responds to everything with “That’s awesome, man”. I just think he could prepare better questions and be far more articulate. If you like hearing the filler-word “kinda” and “bring me through [insert anything]” numerous times, this is the show for you.

Michael Abrams (Valley of Doves)

Stephen Keech (Haste the Day)
Q: Bring me through joining Haste the Day.
Stephen describes how he was approached to fill in on vocals for an Europe tour, initially thinking it was about merch, then being asked to join full-time, and ultimately deciding to commit after weighing the impact on his friends and band.

Q: What was it like recording Light a Match with Ed Rose?
It was transformative; I wasn't prepared, and Ed pushed me to redo takes until everything clicked, which taught me the value of preparation and seriousness and shaped my work ethic for years.
