On this episode of our Beatles podcast, we cover another song, Another Girl. For the first time in a while, it's just Kenyon and Peter alone together, so things get loose pretty quickly. We come into the episode talking about a minor Paul song, but b... more
In this Beatles lecture series, Kenyon begins by focusing on the word "need." We follow the story from George's devotion to his heartbreak and devastation. From there, the music takes over and the volume-pedal guitar motif takes center stage. The mus... more

I got excited when I found this podcast. Boy was I disappointed. They spent way too much time talking about microphones. And ruined my favorite Beatles song by comparing it to another song. Now I can’t un-hear that. Thanks a lot.
Informative and entertaining and thorough- as a long time Beatles fan and musician who has dissected a lot of what makes the Beatles special to me, I appreciate the fresh insights into some of the special sauce that makes the Beatles eternally relevant. Well done!
Have been listening and greatly enjoying this series since episode #1. I look forward to each release, as I have totally loved Beatles music and history since the 1964 Ed Sullivan Show first appearance! Keep up the really loved work!!! Thank you 😃

Update: I thought Peter was hard to listen to, but his “neighbor” makes him sound like freaking Hemingway. Enough with the di... more
