In this Beatles Lecture Series, “Yes It Is” stops sounding like a simple warning about a color and starts sounding like grief masked as control, with the lecture arguing the real “it” is pride and the performance carries a ghost-like weight. You also... more

Some of the factual content could be more thoroughly researched, but as a classical musician, Kenyon speaks my language and I like his musical analyses.
Definitely one of the top5 pds out there for Beatle fans
This used to be a fun podcast. But Peter has become insufferable. I don’t know what’s worse, the word salad he spews during the impressions segment, his childish persona during the story time portion or his grating sycophancy when there’s a guest. In short: He adds nothing to the episodes. I think I see now why their band broke up. Just let Kenyon do the show by himself.
Can't wait to listen to your show each week. This is a lot of work to put together. I had 2 podcasts and it takes hours and hours
This is a fantastic Beatles podcast - and I say that as someone who has listened non-stop to Beatle podcasts (plus the brilliant A History Of Rock Music In 500 Songs) since the beginning of COVID. I love their friendship, interaction, humour and knowledgeable discourse. Essential listening if you’re a deep fan.
