  • Nearly unlistenable

This used to be a fun podcast. But Peter has become insufferable. I don’t know what’s worse, the word salad he spews during the impressions segment, his childish persona during the story time portion or his grating sycophancy when there’s a guest. • Not perfect, but really good.

Some of the factual content could be more thoroughly researched, but as a classical musician, Kenyon speaks my language and I like his musical analyses.

Q: What role did George Martin play in shaping this track, and how does his orchestral version differ from the original?

Q: How does The Night Before compare to other songs like She's a Woman in terms of key and modal feel?
It shares a bluesy-pop blend and a similar energetic groove, but The Night Before uses mode mixture elements and a more pronounced vocal delivery, giving it a distinct atmosphere that contrasts with the lighter phrasing of some contemporaries.
