Friends from the Los Angeles comedy scene discuss the Beatles, an album at a time. We have no reason to, nor any special qualifications. We just want to because we're obsessed with the band, like any rational human. TOPICS INCLUDE: Reasons we love them! Stories we've read! Opinions we hold! Excitement we cannot contain! THE BEATLES!

The panel goes very deep on Anthology 4, the "new" volume of rare tracks released as a sequel to the 1994 documentary / music release Beatles Anthology.
I put "new" in quotes since many of these tracks were included on the re-mixes of Revolver, Whi... more

Poor Paul and Ringo. Thanks
I love this podcast! I’ve listened to it for a long time, maybe a few episodes into its start. They’re not perfect on their Beatles knowledge and they know that, but they make their listens so fun and entertaining. I’ve been going through a difficult time lately, and these always brighten my mood once they start. Lot of fun and recommend!
A great show. A few comments: someone remarked that the lyrics are celebrated, but they are not enough, the music has to be there, and I agree with that, but it tended to be the afterthought for Dylan. Somewhere in his Chronicles, he talked about a really satisfying, songwriting experience that he had one day, just woke up and hammered it out, it just flowed, really satisfying. Then as an afterthought he adds, ‘no tune yet. Oh well, that’ll come.’
Also, someone remarked that they cannot unders... more
All the panelists are entertaining, funny, and knowledgeable. Special shout out to host Will Hines, who brings a lot of humanity and empathy to his role.
A fabulous album. There’s another Beatles podcast, nothing is real, which has a really active comments section on Facebook, and there are at least one or two people on there who are with the critics at the time of release, i.e. who think that this is just a terrible album. They got a lot of flak back at them, and their response was just to say that the world has gone insane! How can anybody think this album is worth anything? Anyway, it remains my number one album of the 70s.
