My favourite podcast. Joyful stuff, charmingly presented. It has made me love my favourite stuff more, and helped me discover loads of solo material I’d never heard. Plus, the Ringo Christmas Album episode had me howling with laughter. But how the heck has the eggpod done that before it’s got to stuff like All Things Must Pass…!?! Thank you so much Chris: this is a real gift.
I love listening to people’s stories about the Beatles and how they were impacted, I also appreciate Chris’s enthusiasm at changing things up to keep them interesting! Merry Christmas
For too long I have listened… and listened to this wonderful podcast. I’ve submitted five star reviews, but have gone too long without writing about just how much I appreciate everyone of these episodes. I don’t always agree with some of the comments, but more often I do, and I always learn something new from another’s perspective. Shaw’s a good host and draws the guests into comfy Fab-facts chat (tho he sometimes gets lax in correcting their errors, like when Lesly-Ann Jones said Ringo played Uncle Ernie in the Who’s “Tommy” film when it was Keith Moon 😬). Plus he avoids the cognitive inflexibility that afflicts lots of male Beatle fans who cry afoul of anyone citi... more
