Terrific, thoughtful interviews with some brilliant authors - Joe’s pod is one of the best in a busy Beatle field.
Tired of people trashing, comparing, critizing McCartney, then saying don’t ge me wrong, I love him. No you don’t you use him to denigrate and compare, elevating George by trashing McCartney.
Overall loved the podcast, except the Andy Miller episode talking about the Hunter Davies book. That guy is such a tool. I only got thru 1/2 the episode before I couldn’t listen to his nonsense anymore.
Really appreciate the interviewers soft hand style in letting the author flow and fully tell their tale without interruption other than to raise the next question. Having said that, when called upon it is clear that each party to the conversation is highly informed on music & the Beatles. Brilliant listening thank you . More please 🙏
Have very much enjoyed the several episodes I’ve listened to so far. Great guests and Joe mainly gives his guests the floor, only chipping in with intelligent comments and questions, which is a refreshing change versus some other podcasts.
