  • Love the story episodes, bored of the politics.

I definitely gravitate towards the story episodes and the more light hearted themes. As time as gone on, this podcast has gone from being mostly funny and full of humor (and when it’s there, it’s still funny) to virtue signaling and imposing her own opinions and beliefs as the only correct and acceptable option. Madi’s politics and view on religion seem to be a constant and reoccurring theme. I used to be a weekly listener, now I’m more of a sometimes listener when the topic seems good. As someo... more

  • Tone Deaf Timing

I have listen to this podcast almost since the beginning. I’ve went to the live show with Mixhers back in the day, have submitted stories that have been read, all the things that make me a good fan. I am also an active member of the LDS faith. I don’t mind when Madi discusses her deconstruction of faith because I usually see it as a chance to learn how my friends who have left feel about things. However, after a very heavy weekend for those of my faith, with our leader dying and a mass shooting ... more

  • Not literally lol

I love this podcast! It’s exactly the right amount of pop culture, friendship, comedy, mom life and religious deconstruction. I listen while I walk or hike and I will actually be laughing out loud. I constantly say “that’s exactly how I feel” when I listen. Madi is standing on normal and that is exactly where I want to be too. Love it!

  • Eldest Daughter Energy

Madi makes her podcast feel like I’m getting a weekly voicemail from an old friend. I’ve been listening almost since the very beginning and it’s been an honor watching her grow and evolve (like we ALL should be). She’ll make you laugh and cry and think about things you never thought you would. Also, Madi definitely gives off eldest daughter energy and we are honored to have her.

  • Define normal

It’s not fair to call your beliefs normal and mine not. We just see things differently, and both perspectives deserve respect. Keep politics out of your podcast.
