I deconstructed my Mormon faith down to the bone—and when my dad died, the deconstruction shit really hit the fan. Now, Girlscamp isn’t just about what’s fallen apart, but about exploring what might come next. Around the campfire, we’ll swap stories from life after faith shifts, laugh at the quirks of high-demand religion, and dig into the ways Mormonism shows up in our culture—from pop culture an... more

I found this podcast about a year ago and it has transformed so much of what I think about religion. I’ve never been Mormon, but as an ex-evangelical, it’s really resonated with me
I have loved Girlscamp since episode 1 despite never being Mormon or ever really interacting with anyone who was. I have always been someone drawn to the topic of theology and religious communities and started listening because of Hayley’s candid approach to talking about religion and her experience with it. I love now to hear from the guests she has on about their experiences as well. Through this podcast I have learned so much about religion, but also about relationships and self preservation ... more
I started listening to this podcast religiously (lol) when it first started, and I am grateful it has continued this far into its journey. I think Hayley does an amazing job being authentic and sharing feelings that are very similar to and validating of my own as part of my own journey. This continues to be one of my favorite go-tos listen to every time a new episode shows up!
I’ve been listening to Girlscamp for 2 years now and it has been so helpful and comforting as I’ve been on my own deconstruction journey with evangelicalism. Haley leads with curiosity, in her deep dives and in her interviews with guests. She isn’t afraid to change her mind and continues to deconstruct other harmful messages that are normal in American culture. Keep it up, Haley! Excited for what’s next.
Been really enjoying this podcast over the last 2 years even if I am not and have never been Mormon. Really thought provoking topics and conversations. Hayley is a great person and you can tell she has a great heart by the way she approaches delicate topics. Always very thoughtful. I love how she interviews. Would recommend.
