  • Unfortunately, it is something less..

I was faithful listener for the first 1.5 years. But between the lack of true depth (every time they do talk about Faith it’s with a jokey/silly tone or it’s the most generic advice or ideas that feel so regurgitated) & the dynamic between Kristin and Jon (it’s giving with friends like these, who needs enemies at times…and other times I genuinely can’t wrap my head around being besties w a man/woman when you’re grown and one of you is married is so odd?) — sadly, the show has been lacking for me... more

  • Mixed Feelings

These two have a naturally fun, silly dynamic that makes the podcast easy and enjoyable to listen to.

At the same time, I often find myself wanting more depth from the conversations. At moments—especially with Kristin—they can feel a bit out of touch, and I had hoped that hosts who openly share their faith would also invite listeners into more of how God is moving in their lives. The personal stories can be super fun! But the underlying attitude can also feel shallow, or tend towards consumeris... more

  • Cozy & Casual

My love for this podcast slowly caught up to me! I’m finding myself waiting for Wednesday each week. I’m a momma of two and it’s so great to have a podcast I can have on occasionally without worrying what the kids will hear. I love listening to the friend dynamic between Jon and Kris and I truly love all the tangents and little monotonous life facts…it just fills the gaps of the day with friend vibes, even when I’m carting my toddler to preschool and trying to scarf food down while my baby naps... more

  • It’s A Slow Burn; Let it cook

When I first listened to an episode of this podcast, I came away from the episode wondering what in the world I had just listened to. It does rely heavily on the two hosts lives. And I kind of wondered if it was something I would go back to listen again.

But then I couldn’t stop thinking about it. All the other podcasts I had saved to listen, were heavy and overwhelming with information or just people’s endless thoughts on pop culture. Another two listens, and I was totally hooked!
