This is the first podcast I came across with a Black couple where one partner identifies as poly and gender fluid. Whenever you hear about poly couples in the media, the couple is never POC, not even in fictional stories. They also touch on politics, parenting and being married. I always learn something when I listen to an episode.

The only downside here: they appear to have only released one show in 2020. And that's understandable given that we're living in a literal nightmare, but listening to these two tackle some of the prevailing issues of the day for the black community (especially Millennials) is a treat. I am very much enjoying each episode. Have heard all but one or two so far, and each session been interesting, educational, and enjoyable. As a 40-something who recently completed a graduate degree while house holding with my partner of 17 years and two children, I find that the insights Daren and Jenn express on each topic to be wise and relevant. Their wisdom is a great resource as I live out my own household, professional, and community roles.
