Talking with a twist is a podcast dedicated to African-Americans and the trauma that we suffer from that being heard. So many times in our culture we are taught to “get over it” which in return silences us. I want to give US A VOICE.

2 ladies share their experiences with losing their mom.
I asked my mom a series of questions about her past life to understand her childhood trauma. She also answered other frequently asked questions from my viewers pertaining to their mom. It’s a must watch
I can’t tell you all how much this one is needed in our generation. As millennials and even more as African Americans we don’t always have the words, emotional capacity, and/or platform to speak on our most prevelent and relatable issues. Which inevitably causes us to bottle it up or cast it aside never to deal with the bigger problem. This show alone is bringing back that voice. Can’t express my gratitude enough. Mad love for Keyvin for orchestrating such a well rounded platform.
More of our young people need this type of outlet to express themselves and to heal. Also to know there’s a safe space out there and others that have been through the same and survived successfully. The main teaching is that ‘Hurt People’ ‘Hurt People’, so take control of your healing and end the generational stigmas.
Love & Peace
Very unique and diverse. We need more young people willing to talk about real life situations. You are going to touch many with this. ❤️
