Stacey is dripping in sarcasm and comical spite. The hurt shows but he is doing his thing. Think about it. This man is brave as all hell.
This user left a one star review and called the author of this podcast an “apostate” which is language only JWs really ever use in real life and then also proceeds to try to claim they are most definitely not a bitter JW.
Sure buddy we totallyyyyyyy believe you lol.
Maybe try not listening to “apostate” content and go back to your indoctrination sessions…oops I meant “meetings”.
i had a pretty rough childhood thanks to this organization. this guy never fails to make me laugh about it still. this show has helped me heal so much i highly recommend if you’re an ex JW.
as an ex-JW, this is the podcast that has helped me with my healing and reconstruction. Stacy does an excellent job of articulating a lot of the hypocrisy, inconsistent application of doctrine and discipline, and the tumultuous social culture that is cultivated by the Jehovah’s Witness organization. Just an excellent analysis of the inner workings of the doctrine with a... more

As to the show, I think he ... more

A humorous, candid critique of Jehovah's Witnesses drawn from personal history as a former elder who was raised in the faith. Episodes center on organizational practices, governance, and cultural patterns—often highlighting hypocrisy, contradictions, and real-world impacts on families and individuals. The host blends sharp satire with personal storytelling to explore topics like control mechanisms, shunning, and the social dynamics within JW communities, offering both critical analysis and empathetic perspective for former members and skeptics alike. The show often contrasts idealized doctrine with lived experiences, making it useful for listeners seeking inside-the-melt insights, accountability, and a mix of levity and seriousness.
